چکیده

Mobile Ad-hoc network is an infrastructure less multi hop wireless network without the aid of any centralized administration. MANET is a self configuring and self organizing collection of mobile nodes. As the nodes provided mobility, the routing is a very complex task in MANET. In MANET each node works as a host as well as a router to forward the packets from source to destination. As in MANET the network topology is dynamic and frequently changes, so routing protocols should be designed to meet the requirement of the MANET. There are various protocols available for the routing. This paper mainly compares the working of AODV with DSR and DSDV for various traffic load and different mobility. Also in future we can compare AODV with other routing protocols. KeywordsMANET, NS-2, AODV. DSR, DSDV, ZRP, TORA throughput, PDR, End-to-end delay

Comparative Performance Analysis of AODV,DSR, TORA and OLSR Routing Protocols in MANET Using OPNET

Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are receiving a significant interest and are becoming very popular in the world of wireless networks and telecommunication. MANETs consist of mobile nodes which can communicate with each other without any infrastructure or centralized administration. In MANETs, the movement of nodes is unpredictable and complex; thus making the routing of the packets challenging....

Performance Evaluation of MANET Routing Protocols Using Random Waypoint Mobility Model

A Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is a self-configuring network of mobile nodes connected by wireless links, to form an arbitrary topology. The nodes are free to move randomly. Thus the network's wireless topology may be unpredictable and may change rapidly .Due to varying mobility characteristics; there is a significant impact on the performance of the routing protocols. There are various Mobili...

A Quantitative Analysis and Behavioral Study of Routing Protocols in MANET

In this paper, we have performed a comparative analysis on three different MANET protocols with respect to packet delivery ratio (PDR), throughput, average end-to-end delay, routing overhead, normalized routing load (NRL), packet drop and packet loss metrics. The protocols considered are DSR, AODV and DSDV. The first two protocols fall under reactive whereas the third one is a proactive protoco...

Simulation Analysis of Routing Protocols using Manhattan Grid Mobility Model in MANET

A Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a self-configuring infrastructure less network of mobile devices connected by wireless links. In this network technology, simulative analysis is a significant method to understand the performance of routing protocols. In this paper three protocols AODV, DSDV and DSR were simulated using Manhattan Grid Mobility Model. The reactive (AODV, DSR) and proactive (DSD...
